FINISHING LINE

The finishing line is located downstream to the polishing machine and completes the tooling on the tiles with a number of operations such as:

- chamfering of the four edges with possibility of side-calibration
- dryning of the tiles surface
- kilin-dryning of the tiles
- wax-or filler spreying
- spreading, by brushing, of sprayed cluids


The chamfering machine is equipped with two groups of several heads, from 4+4 to 8+8, to provide any kind of chamfer on the tile edges. It may be equipped also with horizontal heads for the calibration of the four tile sides.

The tile surface drying path is equipped with 3 upper and 3 lower hot-air blowers.

A continuous kiln, equipped with radiating plates provides for a quick drying of the tiles; the operation is completed on a special path where the tiles are subjected to a forced ventilation of hot air coming from the kiln.

Wax of filler spraying takes place by means of adjustable sprayers which allow to regulate shape and quantity of the fluid.

N°2 rotating brushes provide for uniform spreading and absorption of the spreyed fluid by the tile surface.
