K904 MS/SC

The step making line is the most recent application of Longinotti Meccanica's innovative MS single-layer technology, which allows the manufacturing of high-quality cement-agglomerated produts using only the same raw materials of the 1st layer of traditional terrazzo tiles, without any chemical additive.
The MS single-layer technology consists in the moulding under high pressure of a wet mix and simultaneous evacuation of the excess of water through a drainage-filtering system. The result is a compact, porosity-free product of high mechanical resistance.
The 4-stations automatic revolving press K904MS/SC was especially designed designed for the moulding of single-layer slabs with dimensions up to 1350x370 mm and thickness from 25 to 50 mm, to be further processed into steps or similar products. The K904MS/SC press is however able to mould also thin single-layer tiles of any size up to a maximum of 600x600 mm and this enables it to be used in a combined step-tile making line.
The automatic collecting and moving device (cycle) CM905 is also provided with special features for collecting and moving slabs of remarkable weight and large-dimensions tiles.
The K904/MS/SC press and the CM905 automatic cycle are equipped with PLCs Siemens. Their construction and safety devices comply with the prescriptions of the European Community (CE).
