GRINDING-POLISHING MACHINE GN40MS Technology for Cementoceramica


The new line 2003 grinding-polishing machine GN40/MS - especially designed for single-layer tiles - offers high productivity and is produced in different versions i.e. with 8, 10 and 12 heads, always built in monolithic machine base.

Standard versions made as follows:
GN40/MS/1+7: 1 head for diamond disc + 7 heads for Frankfurt segments
GN40/MS/2+8: 2 heads for diamond discs + 8 heads for Frankfurt segments
GN40/MS/3+9: 3 heads for diamond discs + 9 heads for Frankfurt segments

The heads can be moved mechanically or pneumatically. The moving of the diamond heads is carried out by a ball screw jack, controlled by PLC. The moving of the heads with Frankfurt segments is carried out by pneumatic cylinders.

The Frankurt holder disc is connected to the head by an elastic joint in order to automatically adapt the abrasive surface to the tile plane.

Each head has its own control board with adjustments of all functions; the general electric board of the machine, with control of belt movements, is placed on the machine itself.

High-rigidity structure which allows precise working tolerances. Strong multilayer rubber belt, sliding on a rectified inox-steel support plane.

Movement of conveyor belt by motoreducer, controlled by inverter, which allows adjustment of feed motion from 1 to 4 meter per minute.

Special motorized device to space tiles in order to avoid shocks of edges during the polishing operation.

Side guides and central guide in inox-steel.

Feeding of the cooling water in the center of the abrasive holder plate. The heads with diamond disc are provided with a flowmeter to check the water flow.

Electric plant integrated in the machine realized according to CEE norms.

The inspection doors in aluminium can be opened only after having switched-off the security end-stroke which blocks the head’s moving; carters in inox-steel.
